Helloooo, ! How are you doing?
It’s almost Christmas. Hurray!
But are you really excited about this Christmas? Did you accomplish your goals for the year? Are you happy about the way the year is ending? Please tell me all about it after reading this letter.
Some of my blessings were delayed and this frustrated my plans to see my mum and siblings on Christmas Day. I know you are probably wondering what kind of delay would make me postpone my much-anticipated trip. I’ll tell you at the end of this letter.
But that’s not all. In the past weeks, I have received some really amazing early Christmas gifts. Yes! Christmas came early and I am excited because I looooooove to receive gifts. Wanna know what they are?
Talking about gifts, do you know there’s a chapter in my book- They Called Me Stupid- which talks about a woman whose life was turned around by a gift? Her name is Halima and I know you’ll enjoy reading about her.
Firstly, my favourite graphic designer, Folayemi Itunu, CEO of Pholar Studios got married to his heartthrob and I was privileged to be a part of his journey into marriage. I wish them a beautiful marriage and three lovely children in due season. For me, it was an early Christmas as I rocked the dance floor with them in my beautiful red dress. Yes, I love to party with dear friends. Did you know that about me?
Secondly, a client of mine, Tosin Olukuade, author of The Son Series, launched his second book- Son of My Parents on Thursday. This book launch is such a blessing to me because it is one of the most interesting books I have read this year. It also deals on a topic I am passionate about- great marriages.
His parents’ marriage clocked 50 years on the 22nd of December and the book was written as a testament of their love journey. The publishing of the book was excellently done and I count it a gift to attend the launch of such an inspiring tool of societal reformation.
Thirdly, I got the gift of being able to have close interactions with you. Yes, you.
I bet you did not expect that, did you? One of the best gifts I received this Christmas is the re-installation of my MailChimp account by my excellent digital media strategist, Dunsin Fatuase. Even more delightsome is the amazing number of feedback I have received this week. Thank you for reading and responding. I consider it a cherished gift.
I have received several other gifts and I wanted to give you a really special one for Christmas but it was delayed. That’s why I won’t be travelling home for Christmas. The publishing of the audio and complete e-version of They Called Me Stupid has been postponed. I felt really sad about it at first but I realised it is a delayed blessing and like all delayed blessings, it will create deeper and better impact when it is released. You can still pre-order as we await the eLaunch of this magnificent, soul-satisfying gift. To pre-order, simply click here.
Finally, I have a gift for you. Hurray!
