When is the date for this training?

This class will hold on the following days:

Where will each of these trainings hold?

They will hold in conducive and serene learning environments in easily accessible parts of town; only registered participants will be told the specific venue.

Is there a deadline for registration?

Yes, there is. The deadline is the 30th of September, 2017 and if the seats fill up before then, we will close registration for 2017.

Do I need a degree in English Language or Linguistics to attend this course?

No, you don’t. The two key facilitators for this course studied Industrial Chemistry but have trained graduates of Linguistics and edited their books. They simply followed their passion for transforming raw manuscripts to priceless treasures in print and learnt all they could to transform their gifts to skills.

Jite Efemuaye

Jite Efemuaye is the Managing Editor, Kachifo Limited, publishers of Farafina Books. Before taking up this position, she served as the Chief Editor in SabiNews, a foremost online newspaper, for two years.

In 2014, she was part of a three-week residency in Rivers State as part of the Port Harcourt World Book Capital Project. In 2015, she participated in the Farafina Trust Creative Writing Workshop taught by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Binyavanga Wainaina and other renowned writers. Her work- fiction and nonfiction- have appeared in Ake Review, This is Africa, Brittle Paper, Sabinews and various anthologies.
